La respiration est contr\u00f4l\u00e9e au niveau du bulbe rachidien, une structure nerveuse prolongeant notre cerveau et situ\u00e9e en regard de la naissance de la nuque. A ce niveau, 2 groupes de neurones vont s\u2019occuper de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer de fa\u00e7on automatique l\u2019inspiration et l\u2019expiration, sans que l\u2019on ait \u00e0 y penser.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019homme a la capacit\u00e9 de prendre conscience de sa respiration \u00e0 tout moment. Comment ? Nous avons tout simplement plusieurs aires au niveau du cerveau qui nous permettent de la contr\u00f4ler. Au m\u00eame titre que celles qui nous permettent de contr\u00f4ler nos jambes ou nos bras. Les respirations conscientes et inconscientes alternent en fonction des \u00e9motions, mais aussi des sens sollicit\u00e9s, de l\u2019exercice, de l\u2019activit\u00e9 mentale, ou encore des concentrations en 02 et CO2 d\u00e9tect\u00e9es dans le corps.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019air peut \u00eatre inspir\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce aux muscles dilatateurs des voies a\u00e9riennes sup\u00e9rieures (des narines jusqu\u2019au larynx), puis gr\u00e2ce aux muscles thoraciques (muscles \u00e0 effet de pompe) dont le principal inspirateur est le diaphragme. L\u2019expiration est elle, passive, ce qui caract\u00e9rise l\u2019\u00eatre-humain. Pour n\u2019en citer que quelques uns :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>la respiration agit sur notre\u00a0<b>\u00e9tat mental<\/b>. Elle favorise notre d\u00e9tente et stimule notre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 apprendre, \u00e0 nous concentrer et \u00e0 m\u00e9moriser. Pour fonctionner, le cerveau a besoin d\u2019une grande quantit\u00e9 d\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne. Respirer superficiellement ne permet pas l\u2019oxyg\u00e9nation suffisante du cerveau et peut ainsi provoquer des sympt\u00f4mes que l\u2019on a tous connus un jour tels que : le stress, l\u2019angoisse ou les attitudes n\u00e9gatives\u2026<\/li>\n<li>Elle\u00a0<b>apaise notre syst\u00e8me nerveux<\/b>. En effet, en agissant sur le syst\u00e8me nerveux parasympathique, la respiration favorise la d\u00e9tente, et diminue le tonus du syst\u00e8me nerveux sympathique qui stimule les r\u00e9actions de d\u00e9faite ou de lutte.<\/li>\n<li>La respiration\u00a0<b>am\u00e9liore le syst\u00e8me cardio-vasculaire<\/b>. Une respiration diaphragmatique profonde tonifie, r\u00e9gule et am\u00e9liore la circulation vers le coeur, mais aussi le foie, le cerveau et les organes reproducteurs.<\/li>\n<li>la respiration\u00a0<b>stimule le syst\u00e8me digestif<\/b>. Appr\u00e9ciez cette courte pause, pr\u00e9parant l\u2019\u00e9lan d\u2019une nouvelle inspiration. Laissez faire cette alternance entre l\u2019inspiration et l\u2019expiration quelques minutes.
